Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Hounslow to appoint a Year 6 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced teacher to take on a pivotal role in a Year 6 class. You will be responsible for preparing pupils for SATs, supporting their transition to secondary school, and delivering engaging, curriculum-focused lessons that promote academic progress and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across all core subjects in line with the Year 6 curriculum

• Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs)

• Track and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for support or extension

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers

• Take part in school planning, meetings, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and SATs preparation

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• A commitment to high standards and pupil wellbeing

• A proactive and team-oriented approach
