Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time – September Start – Hounslow
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Hounslow to appoint a Year 6 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced teacher to take on a pivotal role in a Year 6 class. You will be responsible for preparing pupils for SATs, supporting their transition to secondary school, and delivering engaging, curriculum-focused lessons that promote academic progress and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching across all core subjects in line with the Year 6 curriculum

Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs)

Track and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for support or extension
-
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers

Take part in school planning, meetings, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
-
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and SATs preparation
-
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
-
A commitment to high standards and pupil wellbeing

A proactive and team-oriented approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
