Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Cheetham Hill

Start Date: February
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to partner with a warm and inclusive primary school in Cheetham Hill, seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from February. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to a vibrant, supportive school community.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to share best practices
  • Participate in CPD and reflective teaching activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching for diverse learning needs
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
