Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Cheetham Hill

Start Date: November | Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cheetham Hill, currently seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from November. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils
  • Track, assess, and support student progress, adapting teaching where needed
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues and leadership to share ideas and strategies
  • Take part in ongoing CPD and reflective teaching practices

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience in Year 1 or Key Stage 1 settings
  • A strong grasp of the national curriculum and effective teaching approaches
  • Excellent classroom management and organisation skills
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit varying learning needs
  • Confident use of educational technology to enhance learning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
