Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | Old Trafford | April Start

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Old Trafford that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. This is a full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm), ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and committed to making a meaningful impact in a supportive school community.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to Year 1 learners
  • Assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support where needed
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share effective practice and enhance outcomes
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using technology to enhance learning
