Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Old Trafford (Starting January)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Old Trafford, seeking a passionate and committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This full-time position (8:30am – 3:30pm) begins in January, offering an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to inspire young learners and make a positive impact within a vibrant school community.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance learning
