Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | Old Trafford | September Start

Teaching Personnel is delighted to partner with a warm, inclusive primary school in Old Trafford, currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position (8:30am – 3:30pm), perfect for a teacher with a passion for early years education and a drive to make a lasting impact within a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils
  • Assess and monitor student progress, offering clear feedback and targeted support
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve pupil outcomes
  • Engage in continuous professional development and reflective teaching practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons to suit a range of learning needs
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in using technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
