Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time | Old Trafford | April Start
Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Old Trafford that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. This is a full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm), ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and committed to making a meaningful impact in a supportive school community.

Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to Year 1 learners
- Assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support where needed
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues to share effective practice and enhance outcomes
- Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs
- Solid understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
