KS1 & KS2 Teachers – Exeter, Somerset and Surrounding Areas

Location: Primary schools across Exeter & Somerset
Daily Rate: £120 – £140 (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate opportunities available – long-term partnership begins 1st December 2025
Contract Type: Supply / Flexible / Full-time / Part-time


Teaching Personnel are delighted to share that we’ve been selected by a large Multi Academy Trust, covering schools across Devon, Torbay and Somerset, to provide their supply and staffing support.

Teaching Personnel will be one of the approved agencies working directly with the Trust to support all their teaching, cover and support staff requirements.

As part of this exciting partnership, we’re now expanding our pool of talented Primary Teachers to work across a range of schools in and around Somerset.

There are also immediate opportunities available ahead of the official start date, giving you the chance to begin working with local schools straight away while preparing to be part of this new collaboration.

Requirements

All educators will be vetted through Teaching Personnel, which includes:

  • An informal interview and reference checks
  • Submission of all required right-to-work and safeguarding documents
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Completion of mandatory training required to work within the Trust

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences across KS1 and KS2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
