Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Pay: Paid to scale (M1 – M6)


 About the Role

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Yeovil, who are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

 Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 2
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Carry out standard teaching duties such as marking, assessment, and participation in school activities

 The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:
✅ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
✅ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
✅ Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, and strong classroom management
✅ Can plan and deliver lessons that support progress for all learners
✅ Works effectively as part of a team and is committed to pupil wellbeing and achievement


 Safeguarding & Compliance

All educators working with Teaching Personnel will be fully vetted prior to placement. This includes:

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Completion of mandatory safeguarding training
  • An informal interview with classroom-based questions to assess suitability
