Job description

Are you a teacher that is looking for a challenging and exciting change? Then this may be the opportunity for you! We are looking for passionate, qualified and compassionate primary teachers to work in one of our SEN schools in the Rochdale area. In this role you will have a positive impact on children who have additional needs such as Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech and Language Delays and Global Development Delays. You will play a vital role in supporting students breaking down barriers to their learning and aiding in their academic and emotional development.


Daily Duties Include:

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Managing behaviour positively and effectively
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
  • Communicating with parents and carers regarding pupil development
  • Implementing strategies from EHCPs and individual support plans

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • References covering the last 24 months
  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
