Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Supply Teacher to join our team in Hackney, Greater London. As a temporary employee, you will be expected to work full-time hours, providing general cover across KS1 and KS2 classes within the UK curriculum.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students
  • Follow the UK curriculum guidelines
  • Provide general cover for absent teachers

Required Qualifications:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience in supply teaching, with a focus on KS1 and KS2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Behavioural Management
  • Additional courses in managing pupils with SEN

Working Conditions:

This position is temporary and requires full-time availability during school hours. The successful candidate will work in various primary school settings within Hackney, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
