Primary SEN TA

Are you a Teaching Assistant who has a calm and caring disposition and a keen desire to work in education supporting pupils with social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health issues?

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working in a specific class based on your skills, experience, and personal preference. In this post you will be supporting the teacher with planning, preparation and assessment duties. You will be working on a whole class capacity, lending your support to the teacher by assisting pupils with their class activities and projects.

Your duties as Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will include developing vital teaching skills under the tutelage of a committed Head who plays an active role in the development of every member of their team. By moving throughout the classroom and supporting students, you will be tasked with helping to maintaining the inclusive learning environment. This Primary SEN Teaching Assistant position involves building and maintaining trusting relationships with the pupils here, reinforcing the positive and friendly atmosphere of the school and ensuring all are experiencing it.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
