Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a HLTA to work in a friendly and welcoming Primary School in the North of Cardiff. The school is looking for a resilient and encouraging individual who has the ability to work with all age groups. The school itself is based in the north of Cardiff, with easy access to public transport routes. The staff in the school are very welcoming and go the extra mile to support new staff members to the school.

Within the role you will have a number of daily responsibilities:

-          Supporting the teacher with behaviour management throughout the day

-          Lead small group sessions with children (numeracy and literacy)

-          Cover classes whilst the teacher is out on courses

-          Assess and track children’s learning progress

Essential requirements and qualifications:

-          Child only DBS on the update service

-          Registration with the Education Workforce Council

-          Relevant HLTA qualification

-          2x professional references

-          Valid proof of right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
