I am currently working with a 'Good' Primary school based in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames. They are looking for a Y1 teacher to join their team from September 2019 to cover a Teacher who is going on maternity leave till the May half term. The school is a 1 form entry Primary school, they are just a short bus ride away from Kingston town centre making it very accessible and easy to get to, the school also have a car park for their staff.

The SLT within the school have been there for a number of years and have a clear vision and path they want to take the school on and are looking for someone who can take on their vision and go the extra mile whilst working there.

They are preferably looking for an experienced KS1 practitioner to take on the role, they want someone who has a great understanding of the curriculum and can make an impact from day one. Prior teaching experience in KS1 is what they are looking for and they want someone who can also share their own ideas on how to get the best out the students.

To be considered for the role you must be:

  • FQT
  • KS1 Teaching experience.
  • Professional and hardworking.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Good behaviour management skills.
  • Someone who is willing to go the extra mile.
  • Available for full time.
