I am currently working with an oversubscribed 2 form entry Primary School based in Kingston who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEN. The school is well established and has a long standing SLT who are supportive of both student and staff development. The school have great facilities and intervention rooms for children who need to take a break from the main classroom setting. You'll be working very closely with the school SENCO and class teacher to come up with strategies and ways to get the child performing to a level the school see suitable.
The atmosphere within the school is both vibrant and nurturing, there is a fantastic behaviour policy in place which in turn has led to an excellent level of behaviour in all year groups. Being an oversubscribed school class sizes are around 30 and all classes have a general TA.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working teaching assistant who is able to make a real difference to a child's education. To be considered for this role you must have a least 1 years experience in a school setting and feel comfortable working with children with additional needs.
