Position: Primary Early Careers Teacher (ECT) Location: Wakefield and Kirklees Salary: £120 - £140 per day

Role Description: As a Primary Early Careers Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your teaching skills, and positively influence the lives of young learners. You will work alongside experienced educators, receiving guidance and support as you embark on your teaching journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth and personal development
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey
  • Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Promoting a culture of respect, resilience, and continuous improvement within the school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience working with primary-aged students (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow as a professional educator
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
