Year 3 Class Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wakefield (WF3) for a temporary assignment, teaching a Year 3 class. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on young learners and is committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.

Position: Year 3 Class Teacher
Location: Wakefield WF3
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 term intitially
Start Date: September 2024

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons that meet the educational needs of students in Year 3.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning requirements.
• Implement and maintain classroom management techniques that foster a safe and productive learning environment.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the school community through participation in events and activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK.
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with specific experience in Year 3.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent organisational and communicative skills.
• Ability to commit to the duration of the temporary contract.
• An updated Enhanced DBS check.
