Job description

Job Title: Early Career Teachers needed for September 2024 (or ASAP)

Location: Wakefield and Kirklees, West Yorkshire

Position Overview: As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a supportive and innovative environment where you can grow both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to foster strong partnerships in students' education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the equivalent if applying from outside the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
