PGCE Graduates
Job description
I am looking for a number of Graduates to fill Teaching Assistant positions we have available at a school in Thatcham starting in January 2020. We are looking for Graduates based around Core Subjects or History, Geography, RE, Languages, Psychology or Computer Science. You will be required to work closely with students either 1:1 or in small groups carrying out interventions and implementing individual education plans. The position is ideal for an individual who is looking for a career in Teaching.
Graduate Requirements:
- Graduated by January 2020 or be able to commit to three days minimum a week
- Core subjects or History, Geography, RE, Languages, Psychology or Computer Science will be accepted
- Previous experience, Teaching Assistant experience advantageous
- SEN experience including Dyslexia, ASC, SEMH or Physical disability advantageous
- Friendly ethos with ability to build relationships
- Behavioural management
- A DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one at a cost of GBP40 for the DBS and GBP13 for the Update Service.
- References from your two most recent employers.
- A full driving Licence as transport can be limited.
