A two form entry primary school in the Levenshulme area of Manchester (M19) are seeking a Year 1 teacher to join their team on a part time basis. The role will start in January and will run until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver the Year curriculum to a class of 31 children 3 days a week whilst working alongside the other Year 1 teacher to ensure planning and assessment corresponds. The school are looking for a flexible teacher who is able to work well alongside other practitioners to ensure all children in the class make excellent academic progress.
The role is to work in a larger than average, two form entry primary school. At its last OFSTED inspection, the school got graded 'GOOD' with aspects of 'OUTSTANDING'. The school focusses strongly on encouraging 'children to achieve their best' and believes that there needs to be a 'really positive co-operation between home and school'. The school are looking for a dedicated Teacher who is able to build strong relationships with the children and their parents to keep them updated on class activity and progress made.
This part time teaching role will start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year.
To be considered for this post, you will:
- Have recent and relevant experience teaching in KS1
- Have a sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Be a dedicated Teacher with a flexible attitude and passion for teaching!
