Teaching Personnel's client co-educational secondary school requires a part time English teacher to join their English department following the October half term. This secondary school is located just outside of the city centre of Manchester making it very easy to commute to for any English teachers travelling by public transport. The local metrolink services the school regularly as well as many buses that travel near to the school. The school is within walking distance from the city centre of Manchester.

The school are looking for a part time English teacher to take on a maternity cover from Monday 28th October until the end of the academic year. There is potential scope to take on a 0.7 contract at this school given that the timetable is made up of approximately 16 periods per week. The successful English teacher will be teaching KS3 in the main with some year 10 classes and the opportunity to subsidise the timetable with English and intervention where possible.

  • Part time English teacher required to start on Monday 28th October
  • Pay will be pro rata but based on the successfully appointed English teacher's payscale; earn up to £1500 per month

This school being located in the city centre area serves a vibrant and diverse community of students. The school is highly supportive of all staff and fosters an environment of respect whereby there is a certain level of expectation from all students. Therefore the successful English teacher is expected to be respectful and teach English lessons which are engaging to all students.
