Job description

Art & Science Cover Teacher – Middle School

Location: DT1 / DT2 Area (Dorchester)
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Full-time – Until the end of the academic year
Pay: Paid to scale

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a lovely and supportive middle school in the DT1/DT2 area to recruit an enthusiastic Art and Science Cover Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming school community and provide subject cover in Art and Science through to the end of the academic year.

The Role

  • Delivering engaging Art and Science lessons across middle school year groups
  • Following pre-planned schemes of work
  • Maintaining strong classroom management and positive learning environments
  • Working closely with a collaborative and friendly staff team
  • Full-time role starting after Easter until the end of the academic year

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or has relevant teaching experience
  • Confident teaching both Art and Science
  • Creative, adaptable and organised
  • Committed to maintaining continuity of learning
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred (or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
