Part Time Early Years Teacher

Date posted : 23/03/19
£110 - £150 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

  • Secure a long term position in a 'Good' School as graded by Ofsted
  • Experience working in EYFS is a necessity
  • Newly Qualified Teachers and Fully Qualified Teachers urged to apply

If you are an NQT or FQT and EYFS is your specialism, we may have the job for you. Teaching Personnel are working closely in partnership with a school in South Sheffield, who are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join their team. The role is to work part time, Monday to Wednesday, full days, covering a job share within the Reception class of 30 Children. The Head Teacher has stressed she wants to accrue a Practitioner who has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework and is largely familiar with the National Curriculum. The position is to start after the Easter holidays and will run until the summer - the cover is due to a full time teacher dropping down to part time after the Easter holidays due to family commitments.

You must have the following;

- UK QTS

- Experience in EYFS

- Strong behaviour management

- Knowledge of Phonics

- Knowledge of EYFS assessments

The general behaviour across school is improving - the school is based in a deprived area of South Sheffield and there are some challenges, but there is a supportive staff team. The school is in an easily accessible location offering plenty bus routes and also near a tram stop if you do not drive. The school benefits from a brand new school building, which is well resourced with a specialist Early Years Unit.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour day, Monday to Wednesday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £100 - £160 per day.

For further information, please contact Teaching Personnel on 0114 2413343.
