Opportunities for graduates to work in secondary schools - Oldham

Are you a recent and hard working graduate looking to work in secondary schools across North Manchester?

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for graduates that are interested in working in secondary schools across both the Oldham and Rochdale areas. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and an introductory role into education, and we currently have immediate starts available for successful candidates.

  • Flexible working schedule (full time and part time work available)
  • Immediate starts available for perfect candidates
  • Gain experience in a range of secondary schools
  • Earn between £1100-£1300 a month, paid in weekly arrears
  • A range of different roles available

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of recruitment within the education sector, currently have a number of strong, working relationships with our partner secondary schools across North Manchester including Failsworth, Uppermill, Chadderton, Radclyffe, Royton and many more.

Working in our partner secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale, there are several roles available including:

  • Behaviour Support Mentor - Supporting students on a 1:1 basis that display challenging behaviour
  • Cover Supervisor - Supervising classes and delivering pre-set work in the absence of class teachers
  • Teaching Assistant - Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Intervention Tutor - Leading intervention sessions to support small groups of identified students
  • Exam Invigilators - Supporting the lead invigilator when students are sitting exams

Whilst registered with Teaching Personnel, you will have an opportunity to explore all avenues of working within education to find a route that is of interest to you. Working through Teaching Personnel also allows you to be in control of your own working schedule through our online portal where you can view, review and update your work diary and availability. You also have access to Teaching Personnel's CPD academy where you can browse and book the most relevant up to date CPD courses available. One of these also includes a 'Become a Cover Supervisor' course that is delivered by former teachers at one of our partner secondary academies.
