Job description
Are you a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a friendly Darlington school?
We’re working with welcoming primary and secondary schools across Darlington who are looking for committed, caring TAs to support pupils and make a real difference every day.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in class on a 1:1 and small group basis
-
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
-
Help pupils stay engaged, confident and motivated
-
Support children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs (depending on placement)
-
Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
What we are looking for:
-
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Experience working with children or young people in a school or education setting
-
A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
-
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
