Job description

Are you an experienced Supply Teacher seeking the option to work from home?

Teaching Personnel Liverpool understand that due to the current circumstances, the next few weeks are a time of uncertainty for many supply teachers.  We are seeking supply teachers that would be interested in providing online tuition via our online teaching platform whilst schools are closed, and then be able to work in schools across Merseyside and The Wirral once schools re open.

Requirements:

  • You must have QTS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can provide guidance on how to apply for this)
  • For online tuition you must have access to the internet, with a PC/Laptop/Tablet and camera & microphone

We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced teachers who have the ability to teach up to at least KS3.

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is the UK’s leading education recruitment agency and every year we provide staff to over 5.000 schools across the UK.  With partial school closures we are now offering our services to schools via an online teaching platform and are seeking teachers to provide online tuition.

Schools from all over the UK will be able to access your profile and book you for tuition.

Of course these school closures are only partial and will be reopening at some point in the hopefully near future! At which point you will be Supply teaching across Secondary schools in Merseyside and The Wirral.  You will be covering lessons, with no planning and no marking.

A willingness to teach across all secondary year groups is preferred but not essential and the ability to cover one specialism up to KS5 would be a bonus to any teachers applying for this role.

You will be able to work on a day to day basis or in long term positions, depending on your personal working requirements.

GBP100 - GBP150 daily pay rate (dependent on the role)

Teaching Personnel Liverpool understand that the next few weeks/months are a time of uncertainty for a lot of supply teachers.  However, the schools will re open and when they do they are going to be needing staff more than ever!   All interviews for this position will be held over the phone & via online video platforms.

If you are interested in this position and have the relevant qualifications, please send your CV to danielle.boyle@teachingpersonnel.com or call Danielle at the Liverpool Secondary Branch on 0151 244 5430 for more information

In addition, you can view all our current vacancies and register with ourselves online at http://www.teachingpersonnel.com/register
