Job description

Nurture Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Bury

Location: BL9 

Do you have a calm, caring and patient approach and a passion for supporting young people with additional needs?

A welcoming specialist provision in the Bury area is looking for a full-time Nurture Teaching Assistant to support pupils who benefit from a structured, supportive and relationship-led environment.

The role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support

  • Supporting emotional regulation and engagement

  • Working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team

  • Creating a safe and positive learning environment

We are looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people

  • A nurturing and consistent approach

  • Full-time availability

  • A genuine interest in SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
