SEN Secondary Learning Support Assistant – Oldham
Location: Oldham
Pay: £90 - £100 a day
Contract: Full-time | Long-term with potential for permanent
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and supportive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in the Oldham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-resourced setting supporting students with a range of additional needs.

The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH)
- Support students with engagement, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapting activities
- Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Support students’ independence, confidence and academic progress
Who we’re looking for:
This role is open to candidates with:
- Previous SEN, education or childcare experience
- Transferable skills from roles such as care work, youth work, coaching, mentoring, support work, psychology graduates or health & social care
- A patient, calm, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
