Nursery Nurse and Support Assistants

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting new Learning Support Assistants and Nursery Nurses available to work in central Andover. I currently work closely with a variety of SEN schools in the area including SEMH and MLD schools, both Primary and Secondary.
The attending pupils have mixed ability but are working across the Primary Curriculum and commonly at low level.
Applicants will be mainly working in a classroom supporting teachers and fellow support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with pupils, supporting pupils through a creative curriculum.

The Role:
Applicants will be working in a classroom supporting teachers and fellow support workers on a 1:1 with a primary SEMH pupils.
The role will operate between 8:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday.
Full time is preferable, but part time is also still welcome.

The Candidate:
Ideal applicants should have previous experience working with complex behaviour or challenging needs professionally. Without school experience any professional experience with the following could help the candidate succeed in this role:

• Psychology
• Youth/Community work experience
• Care worker
• Challenging behaviour within family
• Mentoring
• SEN Experience
• Child development, both the biological and cultural aspects

Teaching Personnel do offer many development courses through our CPD Academy; such as Autism Awareness, Safeguarding and Team Teach to help support any successful candidates within this environment.
