NQT Required - Key Stage 1- Tameside

A client school in Tameside has come to Teaching Personnel with the desire to recruit a Newly Qualified Teacher to start in September.

The vacancy has arisen due to the current Year 1 Teacher moving in to a middle leadership role. The school in question is a large two form Multi-Cultural school which has most recently been graded 'Good' by OFSTED.

The school are looking for a Newly Qualified Teacher with a vast amount of enthusiasm to join their team and work with the Year one class of 30 pupils. The class consists of children from all backgrounds with 4 SEN Pupils and 12 EAL pupils. Two of the pupils within the class have an EHCP and are supported by a Specialist Teaching Assistant who works closely with them but also spends 1 morning per week in the on site sensory room.

Read Write Inc is the Phonics of choice at the school with 87% achieving expected progress in the latest screening. Experience of delivering Read Write Inc phonics would be desirable but training would be provided for the right candidate.
