Music Teacher- Llanelli area

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Music Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our partner schools in the Llanelli area, as the current post holder prepares to take up a more senior position in another organisation. The school continues to go from strength to strength, with most school years being oversubscribed due to demand for places. In 2017, our pupils and staff secured the highest GCSE results in Wales and in 2018, we were placed 30th in the country by The Times for A-Level. This is down to our hard working staff who go above and beyond in everything that they do and our highly motivated pupils, whose conduct and enthusiasm supports them to achieve great things.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced, enthusiastic and music teacher who will be expected to teach all school years from Year 7 through to Year 13 joining a strong, highly successful subject area. Pupils follow the WJEC syllabus at GCSE & A-Level.

You will be an energetic and self-motivated teacher with sound organisational and administrative skills. Somebody who thrives on enabling each and every young person to unlock their true potential, you will take particular concern for providing the conditions in which pupils exceed expectations. You will wholeheartedly support our aims as an independent day and boarding school, where many parents make significant financial sacrifices to fund their children's education. If you join us, you will benefit from smaller class sizes, opportunities for professional development and the chance to be part of a friendly and encouraging staff team, in an optimistic and enjoyable working environment.

For a suitably qualified and experienced candidate, additional responsibility may be available.

To be considered for this role please get in touch as soon as possible. Please send your CV through at your earliest convenience.
