Graduate teaching assistant required for Salford primary school – Fantastic position!
I am currently working with a primary school in the M5 area of Salfod who are looking to appoint a specialised teaching assistant to work closely with a pupil on a 1:1 basis. This role has come available due to the teaching assistant going on Maternity leave.
The role will include working closely with a pupil who is at a very low ability in terms of literacy and numeracy. It will be your job to support the child every morning between 8.30-lunch time with work provided through the teacher, but also to implement new ideas what may boost the levels of the child. The teacher is very supportive towards the current teaching assistant and has been praised with the way she works with the TA and the child to support the learning on a weekly basis. The school are known for support towards staff and provide maximum opportunity for development and staff to further their careers.
