Job Summary
Teaching Personnel, one of the UK's largest providers of supply teaching and tuition is looking for a Maths Tutor to support students through their maths GCSEs
You will be offered flexible hours that suit you and the school and you will be providing 1:1 support to students aged 14 to 16. This will be set in a secondary school in central Bath
Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering 1:1 tutoring sessions at a secondary school in Bath
- Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet your student's academic needs and goals
- Clarifying and teaching subject matter
- Assessing students' knowledge on a regular basis
- Being a mentor to students
- Completing a session report within 48hrs of the tutoring session, detailing what you have done that session.
Qualifications and Skills
Key Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A qualified teacher (QTS) / experienced tutor / Teaching Assistant / Graduate of a maths relative degree (Physics, Maths, Statistics, Accounting etc)
- Have good knowledge and understanding of the school curriculum
- Care about helping their students improve and achieve academically.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are flexible, organised and reliable.
