Maths Teacher- Stockport- September 2018

Due to an upcoming planned absence within the Maths department, Teaching Personnel have just been approached by a popular secondary school in Stockport to recruit for a Maths Teacher. This is a full time Maths teaching position starting in September 2018 for two terms initially.

This position represents a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Teacher to join a school that is going from strength to strength under the ambitious direction of a newly appointed Head teacher. There will be vast career development opportunities for a Maths Teacher who is willing to immerse themselves in the high performance culture of the school:

  • Full time Maths teaching position to KS3/4
  • Required to start from September 2018
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience (£22,917- £38,633)
  • Both newly qualified and experienced Maths Teachers encouraged to apply
  • School located close to Stockport with excellent transport links via the nearby motorways

The role is ideal for any Maths Teacher who wants to make a significant impact on the learning of pupils who respond best to an engaging and innovative practitioner. The incoming Maths Teacher will join a successful Maths department consisting of 7 experienced teachers who work effectively together to ensure Maths is accessed by all pupils regardless of ability level.

The school-

Our partner school is an average sized secondary school with just over 900 pupils on roll. The large majority of pupils who attend the school are from White British backgrounds with the numbers of pupils who speak English as an additional language being significantly below the national average.

In terms of location, the school is a short drive away from the M60 motorway which offers excellent accessibility to the boroughs of Stockport as well as Tameside. There are also regular public transport routes to the school via bus and train.

How to apply-

If you are a Maths Teacher seeking a new challenge in September, please submit your full CV to Paul via the link below. Alternatively, to discuss this role in further detail please contact the Manchester South Secondary Branch directly.
