Are you a dedicated, enthusiastic Maths teacher? Are you looking for a new role in Dewsbury? Do you have experience teaching KS3-KS4 Maths? Are you looking for a Maternity cover post with the view to go permanent? If so, I have the perfect role for you.
I am looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join the Mathematics department at this Secondary Academy in Dewsbury WF13. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. This schools single goal is 'Students First' and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim.
An ideal candidate will have:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths 9-1 at a variety of levels
- A friendly, creative approach to teaching
- Good behaviour management skills
- An ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
This school has strong ethos running throughout with a rapid state of improvement in the past year. They are expected to achieve 'Good' by Ofsted by September 2019. There will be some challenging pupils but with the support of the pastoral team throughout there is a very strong ethos within this Maths department. This is a very exciting opportunity and one where you can really feel valued for the hard work that you put in.
