Teaching Personnel is working on behalf of a Nelosn based Secondary School seeking to appoint a talented, creative and inspirational Teacher of Maths starting in January 2019. The school is a thriving and rapidly improving school with a vision for achieving excellence!

As a Teacher within the Maths faculty you will work closely with a committed team in ensuring the students are inspired by developing outstanding classroom practices, continually developing new and creative ideas and sharing good practices with your colleagues. The position has become available due a Maternity leave within the Maths department. Although, ideally the school are seeking a Teacher willing to complete a position on a part time basis, they are able to accommodate a full timetable for a suitable candidate.

The Nelson school is a thriving 11-16 Secondary School that is consistently working towards achieving excellence and 'Outstanding' results. As an average sized Secondary the school have approximately 1000 pupils on roll. The school is in the process of modernising the site, the facilities are a mix of traditional school buildings and some state of the art classrooms.

The school has excellent staff support available and an extensive induction programme for NQT's. Applications from NQT's are encouraged.

The successful candidate will benefit from:
