Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher who is due to be available in January 2018?

Our client secondary school in the South Manchester area of Levenshulme/Burnage is looking for an excellent classroom practitioner to join their Maths department. The successful Maths teacher will have a full teaching timetable made up of KS3 and KS4 classes. However, there will be a weighting towards KS4 and a focus on assisting those students who require a boost to jump up to the next grade. Students who are borderline C/D are a focus for this thriving Maths department as well as those classified in the school's gifted and talented program; borderline A/A*.

If you have a track record of working with these students, then this Maths teaching role is ideal for you.

Highlights of this teaching post:

  • Pay ranging between £110 - £140 depending on experience
  • Full time Mathematics teaching position, starting January 2018
  • Ideal position for a Maths teacher who is able to make a difference to those students requiring an additional boost

The school has a student-centred focus when it comes to teaching, therefore requiring a Maths teacher who can offer high quality teaching with an innovative and dedicated style. Whilst this position is initially on a supply basis, the school want a practitioner who will immerse themselves in school life and strive to push the school forward.

The school is located in the South Manchester area of Levenshulme/Burnage which is easily accessible from all surrounding areas. The school is well serviced by local public transport from the city centre and from the Stockport area. The school can also be accessed from Chorlton, Stretford, and Wythenshawe as well as further afield via the M60 ring road. The school boasts excellent facilities and encourages all faculties to utilise the facilities on offer; including smart boards and the latest computer technology.
