Are you a Maths Teacher seeking a new role from January 2021?
Can you confidently teach Maths to KS3?
I am working with a Secondary school in the Newport Area that is seeking a Maths Teacher to start in January 2021. This role is full time and for the rest of the academic year.
The Role:
This is a full time role teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4. The time table is mostly KS3, but there will be an element of KS4.
There will be an opportunity to join the school on a direct contract pending a review at Easter.
Feedback from other teachers at this school is very positive, offers great support and make you feel like a permanent member of staff.
Good behaviour management is always desirable, but in it's last inspection Estyn noted that overall behaviour at the school is good.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), and have experience with teaching in the UK Maths Curriculum up to KS3.
You will need to have a DBS on the update service - Teaching Personnel can help you apply for this if needed.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid the Wales Framework daily rate of GBP138.56. You will have contact with your own personal consultant and access to a wide range of teaching opportunities.
