Maths Teacher, Liverpool

  • MPS (1 to 6) £110 - £165 per day on supply
  • Long term full time Maths teaching position starting after October half term
  • "Outstanding" graded school

Teaching Personnel are actively seeking an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to join and OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ school for the second part of the next half term. This is a full time post and the right candidate will be appointed after lesson observation and interviews with the SLT.

Our client school is much larger than the average-sized secondary school with a large sixth form in Liverpool. The proportion of students supported by the pupil premium is higher than the national average. Over 90% of students are White British and the vast majority of students speak English as their first language. The proportion of students identified with special educational needs and supported through school action is slightly above the national average. A small number of students in Key Stage 4 attend courses at local colleges. The behaviour of students in classrooms and around the school is exemplary. They feel happy and safe and talk with a real sense of pride and enthusiasm about what this school offers them.

To be considered for this Mathematics teaching role you will need to be/have:

*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in Mathematics

*Experience teaching Edexcel Mathematics in both KS3/4

*A passion for Maths and the desire to improve results

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
