Maths Teacher

KS3/4 Maths Teacher required from Easter, 3 days a week, covering a maternity leave.

The school work hard to ensure the reduce workload on staff, allowing more time in the classroom to put their vision of students first, raising standards and transforming lives into practice. This has contributed to their success over recent years. As noted by Ofsted, the overall progress made by their students, particularly disadvantaged students, by the end of Year 11 has been significantly above the national average. 

In addition to this success, the school will actively invest in your future through working closely with Teaching Personnel to offer access to a wide range of CPD opportunities, with all staff receiving a minimum of two hours’ CPD each week.

Requirements

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE).
  • Fully qualified to degree level in Maths.
  • Experience as a Maths Teacher at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Have a passion for Maths and the ability to encourage your students to feel the same.
  • Determined to support pupils and match the schools ethos.
