Intially one term contract, potential permenant role

East Riding of Yorkshire Secondary Academy

The governors of a East Riding Secondary Academy seek to appoint a Maths Teacher from January 2020. The vacancy has arisen following the resignation of a permanent member of staff. This full time role will initially be on a temporary contract through Teaching Personnel for one term, if the sucessful candidate impresses during the temporary period, then a permannt contract could be offered directly with the Academy.

This Secondary Academy is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire in a semi rural area. The Academy forms part a successful Multi Academy Trust and benefits from shared leadership, CPD and Teacher Training. The recently appointed Head Teacher is overseeing a number of changes within the school that have seen improved teaching and pupil outcomes.

To be considered for this post you will be a fully qualified, or newly qualified Maths teacher. You will have recent experience of teaching Maths to GCSE. You will have a passion for your subject and be ready to teach engaging lessons that stretch pupils at all levels.

If you are sucessful in your application you will benefit from excellent rates of pay. The temporary contract provides the perfect opportunity to understand if you would like to work in this role on a permanent basis.
