Full time Mathematics teacher required for a permanent gap in September.

Large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Bury LEA are actively recruiting for a Maths teacher to join their Mathematics faculty on a full time basis from September 2018. This permanent position will commence in the new academic year, and there will be progression opportunities available for the successful Mathematics teacher.

The school are welcoming applications from both experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers; however it is essential that the successful Maths teacher has experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE, and has resilient yet effective classroom management strategies.

  • Full time Mathematics teacher required, September 2018 start

  • Pay in line with teaching scale point £22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' 11-16 Secondary school with state of the art facilities

The successful Mathematics teacher will be joining a team of eight teaching staff who have transformed the attainment of all pupils throughout the past two academic years. 86% of pupils last academic year achieved a grade 6-9 which is significantly above the national average.

Located towards the north of Bury town centre, our partner Secondary school has recently been refurbished to accommodate an increased intake in pupils. The successful Mathematics teacher will have access to state of the art facilities to create challenging lessons that can stretch all pupils throughout Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

The school can be accessed via the M66 motorway near to Elton, and neighbouring areas Bolton, Rochdale and Ramsbottom provide a direct route to the school. There are also a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school for non-drivers.
