Our client school is looking for a Mathematics teacher with a track record of raising attainment across KS3 and KS4 by delivering engaging lessons with encourage pupil progress. The school has no preference in levels of expertise and experienced Mathematics teachers along with those who are newly qualified are welcomed to apply within.

Due to internal promotions and a restructuring of our client school's Mathematics department, there is a need for a Mathematics teacher to join an innovative department which last year boasted their highest results in 5 years. The percentage of students making expected progress in Mathematics is in the highest quartile in the Manchester and surrounding areas and the school look to build on this continuation with the appointment of a highly skilled Mathematics teacher. The school is larger than the average secondary, with over 1200 pupils currently on roll which looks set to increase again next year. The school is the product of the merging of two single sex schools with a reputation for success and since the appointment of the new Principal; the school has made improvements to the calibre of teaching and senior leadership which has created a positive environment for learning for the students.

Requirements of this post as a Mathematics teacher;

** QTS or relevant teaching based qualification

** Experience delivering a high calibre of lesson in Mathematics to 11-16 year olds

** A desire to raise attainment and 'Narrow the gap'
