Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel the market leaders in education recruitment, are seeking applications from an experienced Maths teacher for a an upcoming maternity cover that is set to start in in January 2020.

The schools aim to appoint a Maths teacher that has a track record of delivering outstanding lessons and achieving excellent results at GCSE level.

The successful Maths Teacher will be required to teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a range of academic abilities, from bottom to top set. The incoming teacher will be required to teach the AQA Maths curriculum, so previous experience teaching this curriculum is desirable. The role will involve planning creative and inspiring Maths lessons to engage every student and marking their work to a high standard.

  • Maths Teacher required in January
  • Working in an 'Good' Ofsted secondary school located on the outskirts of Wigan.
  • Competitive pay in line with MPS/UPS standards.
  • Maternity cover with employment for the remainder of the academic year.

Our client Secondary school located on the outskirts of Wigan and currently has around 1300 pupils on roll. The pupils within school show respect for adults and for each other and their highly conscientious attitudes to learning are an important factor in the schools consistent achievement. The school is located on the outskirts of Wigan bordering Salford which makes for easy access from surrounding areas; St Helens, Warrington, Leigh and Chorley.
