Job description

Position: Teacher of Maths.

Location: Lancashire (BB4 area).

Start date: Monday 3rd June 2024.

Contract: Full-time, initially until December 2024.

We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and conscientious teacher of Maths. This exciting role offers great opportunities for the successful candidate and a chance to make a difference to some wonderful young people. We are looking for a Teacher of Maths who:

  • has successful experience of teaching maths at KS3 and KS4
  • has successful experience of teaching a range of abilities
  • has successful experience of teaching in a comprehensive school with a significant number of disadvantaged students

and will be:

  • Vibrant with high expectations of themselves and students
  • Passionate about learning
  • Caring and patient
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Ambitious for their own professional and career development
  • Able to motivate and enthuse students through a commitment to equal opportunities, regardless of background, Special Educational Needs or prior attainment
  • Enthusiastic about wider school developments, including Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
