Maths Teacher

Maths Teacher required for January

A School close to Emmsworth in Hampshire are looking to recruit a Maths teacher for the new year. This role is temporary with the view to become permanent for the right candidate. The school are looking for an outstanding teacher who is able to contribute towards the rapid progress its pupils are making across core subjects.

In its most recent Ofsted, the school was noted to be aware of its lower achieving pupils and working hard to bridge the gap to improve progress towards GCSE results. The school are a "Good" school and pride themselves on their values and ethos, to strive for excellence for every individual. The academy school offer a wide curriculum alongside its core subjects and often students will be involved in enterprise days or STEM days to further their experiences and allow them to explore subjects in depth without the constraints of the timetable.

Candidates must;

- Have UK QTS or equivalent

- Hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one

- Be able to engage the pupils within core subjects

- Hold high behaviour expectations

- Be able to teach up to GCSE level

Desirable;

- Proven track record of raining attainment

- Experience using technology within the classroom

- Experience working 1:1 or small groups with lower achieving pupils
