Mathematics Teacher – Secondary Education

Dorchester, Dorset
Starting September 2026
Permanent, Full-Time Position

A respected secondary school in Dorchester is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join its successful teaching team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a thriving school community that places a strong emphasis on both academic excellence and staff wellbeing. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about inspiring students and delivering high-quality Maths education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Possess strong knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum
  • Be skilled in planning and delivering engaging, effective lessons
  • Have the ability to inspire learners and support students of varying abilities
  • Be dedicated to promoting student achievement and academic progress
