Maths Teacher – Secondary School

Bridport, Dorset
September 2026
Full-Time | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Maths Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Bridport from September 2026.

The school is seeking an individual who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
  • Encourage students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • The ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
