Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Weymouth)

Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Contract Type: Full-time (part-time considered)
Start Date: September
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher ready to inspire young minds? We are looking for a talented individual to join a successful secondary school in Weymouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive department, dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving strong outcomes for all students.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available)
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities
  • Track and support student progress to drive academic success
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities

About You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics
  • Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Have high expectations for student behaviour and achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
