About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Shaftesbury area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and make a meaningful impact on their academic journey.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience), helping pupils develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
  • Be committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and a team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
