Secondary school in East Cheshire seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a full time, temporary basis for 1 term commencing after Easter 2021. This position is temporary due to the position being filled from the start of the new academic year in September and is the ideal opportunity for a Maths teacher seeking some short-term work.

The candidate who progresses will be expected to teach to a timetable made of up of classes from years 7-11. The schools Ofsted Report rate of ‘Good’ and Progress 8 scores of above average demonstrate the schools pedigree, but as they were previously rated as ‘Outstanding’ the school will no doubt be committed to reclaiming that perfect rating. The successful candidate will have to do their part in raising attainment as much as possible during their time at the school and must adopt the same high standards the school has for all their pupils and staff.

Located a short distance from Pendleton Way which boats links to both the M56 and Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road, meaning the school can be easily accessed by candidates commuting by car. Wilmslow Station is also a short 0.5 mile walk from the school meaning that the position isn’t limited to just car drivers.

Requirements for this position:

-          Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (QTS)

-          Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
