Maths Teacher

Exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher looking for a new, rewarding role. 

Teaching pupils with mental health and/or medical needs.

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in Bournemouth, seeking a Maths Teacher to join their team. This is a part time 0.6 role (3 days a week), to start in September 2020.

The school caters for pupils with medical needs, in particular mental health. Many of the pupils suffer from anxiety and can be very dis-engaged from education. The pupils are in KS3 and KS4, so you must have experience teaching Maths up to GCSE. Some pupils will be working towards Functional Skills so an understanding of this curriculum would be beneficial. 

This role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers. This is a Maths teaching role, however other subject specialists with experience with Maths will be considered. You should also have experience working with mental health needs and/or SEN - this can be within a mainstream school setting or outside of education all together.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
