We are working with a number of supportive and ambitious secondary schools in Bolton who are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their team from October 2025. This role offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle, with both short-term cover and long-term placements available – including potential temp-to-perm options.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and assess in line with national curriculum expectations

  • Inspire students to develop confidence and curiosity in Mathematics

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and organisation

  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole school development (in long-term roles)

What We're Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom management and a flexible, proactive approach

  • Passion for teaching and supporting student progress

  • Open to ECTs and experienced teachers alike

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
