We’re recruiting a Maths ECT for a full-time position in Rochdale, starting this October 2025. Whether you’ve recently completed your training or are looking to secure your first long-term role, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and thrive in a welcoming school environment.
The Role:

Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
-
Work collaboratively with a strong and supportive Maths department
-
Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum

Receive full ECT support and ongoing professional development
-
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold QTS and have completed teacher training in Maths
-
Be enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to develop professionally
-
Have excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
-
Show commitment to student progress and well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
